A really nicely prepared MGB race car, all in date with current MS UK Log Book. Freshly painted and ready for competition. Race, sprint, time attack, hill climb. Eligible for all MG Race championship, Classic Sports Car Club Swinging Sixties.
Bodywork and styling
Roadster body with Works styling with alloy bonnet, fresh paint, fibreglass wings, boot lid, hard top, and perspex windows, and a choice of front spoilers – Sebring or deep type.
Drivetrain
1950cc all steel engine, 180bhp at the flywheel with dyno, and 7000rpm. Farndon EN408 billet steel crank, H-section rods, forged race pistons, full race head, roller rocker assembly. Weber 45, Luminition electronic ignition, Microdynamics rev limiter. Steel flywheel, Wosp starter motor. Large baffled sump. Large core oil cooler, remote oil filter. AP 184mm racing clutch. Straight cut CR box, with quick shift gearstick, recently rebuilt by MG Motorsport. Salisbury LSD – 4:1 ratio, linked rear axle. Large bore 3 branch exhaust manifold and stainless steel system with repackable silencer. Large core radiator, Samco hoses. Central alloy fuel tank, Facet fuel pump, fuel regulator.
Suspension, brakes and wheels
Spax gas telescopic shock absorbers, negative camber wishbones, 1 inch diameter anti roll bar. Race springs. MG V8 disks and callipers, Mintex M11 77 pads. 2 sets of wheels; 6x14 Minilite alloys with Yokohama Advan soft compound, 6x14 GB alloys with Yokohama Advan medium compound.
Safety
In date Sparco bucket seat and Hans compatible 6 point TRS harness. Racetech gauges. Plumbed in Lifeline fire extinguisher.
