Well, what a time it’s been… We’ve been locked up long enough. Following the success of the Bear Run 2019, and after an unexpected pause, the most recent instalment of the Bear Run was a great succss. Fabulous people, eclectic motor cars, perfect hospitality and the most stunning driving roads in god’s own country.

Thanks to the staff of The New House country hotel and the Coed y Mwstwr, Coach & Horses, Zip World at Tower Colliery, Nick, Tom & Taylor, Noa, Justine, all the team, and of course our competitive and classy crews.

Our petrolhead childhood in a box…

I can link a large part of my early car obsession with Tamiya RC models. That fact is in very little doubt. Tamiya models, and Evel Knievel stunt bikes.

W.D.WINS are now approved Tamiya dealers, and that means we can supply all manner of healthy obsession to young car freaks and sentimental old folk alike.

What a great way to isolate… with diffs, shocks and servos. Learn, create, play…

MUTT MOTORCYCLES AT TEAM WINS HQ

We are delighted to announce that W.D.WINS is now an authorised dealer for Mutt Motorcycles. We will be the main agent for Wales, and we’re hoping to have a few bikes in stock at TEAM WINS HQ, Cowbridge very soon.

For those who don’t know about Mutt, they produce very cool bikes in a modern street brat custom style. Think Steve McQueen in The Great Escape. In fact one of their best sellers is named Hilts after his character.

Based in Birmingham, their bikes are smaller bikes in 125 and 250cc, and they also have a 400cc mono shock in development. Powerplant is Suzuki, and their build quality is very impressive, especially given the affordable picetags. Bikes start at £2995.

We are partnering with local training school Vale Moto, who offer training from CBT to full licenses, and refresher courses for those coming back to biking. We are working on other brand alliances too. Watch this space for news of accessories, including helmets and clothing.
