Pretty good on the leafy lanes of Wales too. And the A roads. And the Motorways. And the school run…?
Why not? It's such a usable car this. Big 4 litre V8, and it's the robust, trusty and tested Rover unit, which sounds like a thunderous TVR should sound, whilst thumping the car to 60 in 4.8 seconds and returning decent economy. Great design details make it so usable – a neat roof system, which doesn't leak, a big boot, very comfortable leather cabin.
TVRs sometimes have a reputation for bad behaviour. This is one of the good ones. A very good one. The chassis is sorted, and protected. Mechanicals are serviced and always have been, according to its history file. Interior and body are bang on. New MOT. Just serviced. 36k miles (although this will be going up if this summer hangs around).
If you're going to buy one… and you should… then this is the one. It's a great car… and it's real ROCK & ROLL.
