Like its 250cc big bro, this little ripper shouts home brew custom bike. With all the hallmarks of a true custom it sports really cool details from raw steel tank, narrow street tracker bars and fat knobbly tyres. The beauty of this bike is we build it for you, no need to spend months in the garage, all you gotta do is ride. As with all our Mutts the RS-13 is true to form, lightweight, stripped down and cooler than a polar bear’s PJs.
Due to the way this hand finished process is carried out each and every tank is that little bit different to it's brother, each RS-13 is a true custom, no two are identical. But how does it sound? Well, if you are a Mutt fan you will know that all our bikes have a healthy low down rumble and the RS-13 is no exception, our black heat treated stainless steel exhaust and silencer barks like only a Mutt can.
The Mutt RS-13 125 is machine built for both fun and stylish commuting, light enough to throw around the city and just as comfortable blasting the A roads. Fuel injection provides this thumper with smooth acceleration and linked brakes provides solid and safe stopping power.
Mutt RS-13 125 is available at £3495.00 plus £125.00 OTR (On The Road) costs including Pre Delivery Inspection, DVLA registration, first year’s road tax, numberplates and fuel. Cost includes collection from Cowbridge CF71. Delivery costs on request.
Once ordered, your bike will be finished to your spec, inspected for quality and registered for you. Most models will be delivered within 14 days of order.
RAW CUSTOM VIBE
The RS-13 follows the classic Mutt stylistic approach - retro styling and riding experience with with modern reliability and ease of operation. The 125cc air cooled single cylinder engine is housed in our tubular twin shock frame and feels like a much bigger bike, a perfect machine for carving up inner city traffic or just as at home slamming through the twists and turns of the countryside. Running narrower handlebars for an upright aggressive riding position, it’s perfect for hacking through the city traffic and that super bright halogen headlight lights up the road ahead with ease from behind the matt black grill. Keeping to a retro classic roots the RS-13 runs 18” wheels front and rear shod with super fat, deep tread fat nobbly tyres.
WHITE LINE FEVER
Short black rear shocks and wide yokes with telescopic forks keep the bike firmly planted on the tarmac. For rider comfort and retro vibe, it has diamond pattern black grips and a choice of black diamond pattern black seat or a distressed tan tuck n roll seat. In true Mutt style we’ve fitted all black wheels with black spokes, flat black aluminium mudguards and of course our neat little black LED aluminium tail light and LED indicators. The crowning glory of this little thumper is without doubt that raw steel tank, each tank is hand finished here at Mutt HQ, each tank hand rubbed each tank to create a uniform finish, the tank is then clear coated to prevent rusting and the final black stripe applied with our Mutt logo.
NEW FEATURES
All new Mutt’s have few little subtle upgrades that you may not notice at first but take a closer look and you'll see some nifty little touches you won't see on other bikes.
First off, we have new LED indicators hewn from a solid block of aluminium by the process of CNC and mounted on a machined stainless steel arm. We’ve also now got machined aluminium headlight brackets too, that set up makes for a pretty tidy front end.
Moving back a bit we get to the handlebar clamps, we now have fully CNC'd clamps coated in a super durable hard anodised black finish.
As always with Mutt Motorcycles we use the skills we learned building one off custom motorcycles and machined aluminium is one of those cool processes that gives a motorcycle a true custom look. Machined fork caps and head stem nut, once again coated in a beautiful anodised finish, combined with the new speedometer surround this provides a beautifully finished view when glancing down at your speed.
One of our favourite new touches requires a bit more scrutiny, kneel down and take a look at the motor, we have a new CNC oil filter cap but look a little closer and you'll see some new machined valve covers on top of the engine reminiscent of 60's and 70's Brit bikes. That’s a little detail not everyone sees straight away but we like it.
Finally, we get to the chunky little posterior of a Mutt and you'll see four beautifully machine CNC nuts holding the rear shocks on.
We've also been busy with some sheet metal work, we've designed a brand new angular sump guard and matching rear master cylinder cover giving the bikes a lower slung more aggressive look, Bruce Wayne would be proud of them.
