THURSDAY 4 JULY
Meet at Eastwell Manor, Champneys Hotel & Spa, Ashford. Arrive early to take advantage of the spa or in time for the relaxed reception, briefing and to meet up with your fellow crews. Early (ish) night in a very comfortable bed to rest for tomorrow’s continental adventure.
FRIDAY
Breakfast at the hotel and a Short trip to Folkestone for our crossing at around 10:20. Once on French soil, it’s onwards to Chantilly, to check cars and crews in at the Apremont Polo Club, Chantilly, home of the Rallye d’Aumale in readiness for the weekend’s event. Freshen up at our hotel, the Grand Pavillon in Chantilly, and back to the Polo Club for Cocktail Reception and Gala Dinner.
SATURDAY
We have more than 350km of Tulip Rallye over the weekend. Day one starts at the Polo Club, winding its way toward Champagne country via lunch at Chateaux du Fere, and this year our Champagne partner is Tattinger. The rallye, part one, completes at the Grand Prix circuit at Reims-Gueux. Now abandoned but perhaps the most famous of the traditional European road circuits – and certainly one of the fastest. Amongst the original stands and pits will be the Rallye D’Aumale village stage, open to the public and where all the cars will be on display. Drivers and navigators will enjoy a special cocktail reception and dinner, and shuttles to the centre of Reims and our 5* hotel.
SUNDAY
Breakfast at the hotel, and shuttles to the village at Reims circuit, to collect the cars and get ready for the main event of the Rallye d’Aumale. The rally is a challenging routemap event through the winding roads and stunning scenery from Reims and back to Chantilly. Picnic lunch is included, and also some surprises along the way.
Once over the finishing line back at the Club, the Polo Match will begin, so pick up your picnic, and spectate, maybe with a glass of Champagne, and view or participate in the Concours d’elegance.
After a full and exciting day, it’s back to our Chantilly base, the Grand Pavillon, to get ready for the final TEAM WINS dinner. As per annual tradition, we will meet up for a private dinner with the team at Club D’Aumale to share stories and celebrate their 10th anniversary in style.
